From Inquiry to Installed in Just 12 Days
When an upstairs bathtub needed immediate replacement, our team developed a focused plan that addressed the problem without expanding into an unnecessary full-bathroom remodel.
After measuring the existing space, we sourced a 30-by-60-inch tub and four-piece surround with generous built-in storage. We coordinated removal of the old unit, material delivery, plumbing modifications, and installation of the new tub, surround, and fixtures.
With responsive sourcing and close contractor coordination, the installation was completed just two days after the quote was presented — and only 12 days after the initial inquiry.

The original 30-by-60-inch, left-hand four-piece tub/shower had worn caulking, aging fixtures, and molded-in shelves that were showing their age. With water finding its way behind the surround, the safest and fastest fix was to pull the whole unit and start fresh.

The upstairs bathtub needed to come out right away, so the plan had to focus on the tub and surround only — no scope creep into a full remodel that would stretch the project for weeks.
The existing unit was a 30-by-60-inch, left-hand, four-piece tub/shower. The new system had to match those dimensions and orientation so the plumbing rough-in, framing, and door swing all still worked.
To move fast, selections had to come from products that were in stock and could be delivered quickly — a nicely appointed surround with generous built-in niche storage, not a special-order piece with a long lead time.
The original plan was to reuse the existing shower handle and tub spout if they were still in good shape. Once the wall was open, it made more sense to install new fixtures alongside the new tub and surround.
Speed came from three decisions made up front: keep the scope tight, spec materials that were already on shelves, and lock down a two-day install window with the crew before the quote even went out.
Once the tub and surround were selected, delivery, demo, plumbing, and installation were sequenced back-to-back. The homeowner had a functioning shower again 12 days after the first phone call — with a new tub, new surround, new niches, and all-new plumbing fixtures.

The old left-hand tub/shower unit was removed and replaced with a new four-piece system in the same footprint. Built-in niche storage in the surround gives the homeowner real space for shampoo, soap, and everyday essentials without needing add-on shelves or caddies.

Rather than reuse the older shower handle and tub spout, the team installed a new shower handle set, tub spout, and shower head. Everything on the wet wall is new, so the homeowner gets a fully refreshed shower experience without any leftover worn parts.
Careful removal of the existing 30" x 60" left-hand four-piece tub/shower unit, including hauling the old pieces out of the upstairs bathroom.
Necessary plumbing modifications and connections to tie the new tub, spout, shower valve, and shower head into the existing supply and drain lines.
Set and secured the new four-piece surround with built-in niches, sealed and finished for a clean, watertight installation.
No other parts of the bathroom were remodeled — the flooring, vanity, toilet, paint, and trim were all left as-is so the project stayed focused, fast, and on budget.
A worn-out upstairs tub and shower became a clean, functional bath — with new fixtures and built-in niche storage — for a $7,500 contract and only two days of on-site work. Sometimes the right remodel isn't the biggest one; it's the one that solves the problem quickly and cleanly.
