Flooring, Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling in Black Hawk County

“Fishsticks did a fireplace refresh for us. The 2 sided fireplace was surrounded by boulders and we wanted a more traditional look. The crew protected our hard wood floors well and cleaned up at the end of each work day — chipping out rock was quite messy — first time we have had a contractor do that! We highly recommend Fishsticks!”

“I was looking for some carpet remnants for my classroom and Danielle and Tyler were so generous as they worked with me and gave me a great price per square foot! They cut pieces to specific sizes, helped me get a large piece of carpet bound for an area rug, and were quick to communicate with me when things were done! They really helped me as I was setting up things for school and I would recommend them as great people to work with!”

“Forever grateful for Danielle's assistance picking and ordering my flooring. Within 30 minutes, she had guided me to the perfect options using the poorly lit photos I provided. Interior design choices always cause me stress, and Fishsticks eliminated all of that for me. I am fully satisfied with the quality of the products but even more impressed by the customer service and how easy they made the process. They streamlined the coordination with my installer and me. I owe them a lot for helping fix a potential design flaw that would have changed the entire project. Instead of using the same flooring on the stair risers, they sent examples of how to break it up. Made a huge difference that elevated the design.”

“Wow. From start to finish the people at Fishsticks were great. Knowing how much an investment home flooring is, they took the time to make sure things were done right. From the time we walked into the showroom, until the last board was slipped into place, we knew we had made the right choice. There is true value when you choose to shop local other than through the big box stores. Fishsticks comes highly recommended by us.”

“I loved working with Fishsticks! From my first visit to the store to the last email confirming the work was complete to my satisfaction, it was an overwhelmingly positive experience. The staff take a personal interest in the project, Danielle is a rockstar project manager with fantastic communication, and the quality of the work that was done is excellent. All of our work was also done much quicker than I had anticipated. I highly recommend Fishsticks and will be using them again!”

“We were extremely impressed with his (Zach Zimmerman's) level of knowledge and his willingness to share it openly. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and never made us feel rushed or uninformed. Thanks for the great service and we love our cabinets and flooring!”
